Super Bowl and Valentine's Day back-to-back! A total double whammy! So if you celebrated a little too hard last weekend are you back on track?
How do you get back on track after a big holiday? You just get back on track! here are a few tips...
Tip 1: Exercise like you normally would. Don't do anything crazy or excessive. You don't want to overdo it. If you typically exercise the next day, then make sure you don't miss it!
Tip 2: Eat healthy meals that include:
Lean proteins
Healthy carbs
Healthy fats
Don't over-restrict
Tip 3: Drink lots of water. We tend to eat more junk food at parties, which usually contain lots of salt. Drink your water (1/2 ounce to 1 ounce per lb body weight). You can add lemon to help with water retention. It's a natural detoxifier and diuretic.
Tip 4: Go to bed on time and get quality sleep. You may not have slept well if you drank a bunch of alcohol. Make sure this week you get to sleep on time.
Use these tips after any holiday to get back on track to reaching your goals.
